How does my recipient get the cash in Ivory Coast?

Once your Mama Money order has been paid for. You and your recipient will receive an SMS with a reference number.Your recipient will require identification and will need to present this reference number at the cash collection location to receive their money.

How do I pay for my order?

You can choose to pay for your order via online banking or EFT. You can also pay with cash at any of our retail partners such as Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Spar, Makro, Game, Flash stores, etc. If you pay with cash, you will receive a reference number in an SMS that we’ll send to you. Present this reference number to our retailer partners and pay the exact amount of cash to complete your order.

How long will it take for my money to arrive in Ivory Coast?

Transfers to mobile wallets and cash collection are sent within minutes. Transfers to bank accounts, on average, take 5 hours to be received but can take up to 48 hours to reflect, depending on the recipient’s institution.
