Celebrating a Decade of Cultural Magnificence

It's that time of the year again! Mama Money GhanaFEST SA is back, and it's bigger, louder, and more vibrant than ever as we mark our 10th spectacular year. This Heritage Month, clear your calendar for Saturday, 14th September 2024, because you won't want to miss the ultimate cultural showdown at Fountains Valley, Pretoria.

From 10 AM until the stars come out, prepare to dive into a whirlpool of cultural fusion that celebrates the best of Ghanaian and South African traditions. This year, under the banner "Forward Ever GhanaFEST SA," we're all about moving forward but also taking the time to honour our rich heritage and the bonds that have only strengthened over a decade.

What's Buzzing at GhanaFEST?

Get ready to be blown away by a stellar lineup of artists, from the heart-throbbing tunes of Ghanaian sensations Ofori Amponsah and King Paluta to the rhythmic beats of local South African talents. The stage will also light up with traditional dancers and tunes spun by DJ Shadow, setting a festive mood that seamlessly blends the musical landscapes of both nations.

A festival favourite, the regal procession featuring Kings and Queens from various Ghanaian tribes like Ashanti and Dagomba, promises a majestic glimpse into Ghana's royal heritage. And it's not just about the adults! We've got heaps of fun lined up for the little ones, too, ensuring GhanaFEST SA is a blissful experience for families.
