Add Mama Money as a Public Beneficiary the next time you transfer money
To add Mama Money as a Public Beneficiary during your transaction, follow the easy steps below:
- Create your Mama Money order and select EFT as your payment method.
- When paying for your transfer using online banking, select “Mama Money - Money Transfer” from the Bank Approved Companies or Public Beneficiaries list.
- Use your Mama Money registered cellphone number as your reference to complete the payment.
Once you add Mama Money as a Public Beneficiary or Bank Approved Company, it will automatically add our bank details for your EFT payment, so you don’t have to enter Mama Money’s bank details each time you pay for your EFT order.
It's easy to add Mama Money as a Public Beneficiary (Bank Approved Recipient) in your Banking App of choice.
Follow the simple steps below to see how to add Mama Money as a Public Beneficiary:
- Select Pay
- Select Pay again
- Select Recipients
- Select Add Recipient/Bill (at the top)
- Select Public Recipient
- Type “Mama Money” in the recipient box
- Select search
- Select ‘Mama Money-Money Transfer
- Type ‘Mama Money’ in name box
- Own ref = Mama Money
- Recipient ref = your registered Mama Money phone number
- Select continue
- If information is correct select ‘Confirm’
- Select finish/pay now
- Select the Pay tab at the top
- Select Single Payment
- Select Bank Approved Beneficiaries
- Search for Mama Money in the search box and select them
- Select next
- Select pay
- Select ‘Pay a bill (Absa listed beneficiary)’
- Type “Mama Money”
- Select ‘Mama Money Money Transfer ‘
- Account Holder’s name is Mama Money
- Bill account number is your registered Mama Money phone number
- Select Transact
- Select Pay
- Select Business Directory
- Select Search Business Directory
- Search Mama Money
- Add your Mama Money registered number as their reference
- Select Pay Beneficiary
- Select Add Beneficiary
- Select Capitec Registered
- Search for Mama Money
- Select Mama Money - Money Transfer
- Beneficiary name is Mama Money
- Type Mama Money registered phone number
- Select Add
